Prohibition of child sexual abuse and exploitation
Forum Online strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). A child is anyone under 18. These standards apply to all users and all content on Forum Online, including text, images, videos, links, posts, initiatives, comments, and profiles.
Prohibited content and conduct include:
- Creating, uploading, requesting, sharing, promoting, or linking to CSAM, including real, altered, or computer-generated depictions of child sexual abuse.
- Grooming a child for sexual exploitation or arranging sexual contact with a child.
- Sexualizing minors or encouraging sexual activity involving children.
- Sexual extortion involving a child, including threats to share sexual images or information.
- Facilitating or promoting the sexual exploitation or trafficking of children.
These rules apply regardless of a user's age, account status, or identity verification. Verified identity does not exempt anyone from moderation or enforcement.
Report a child safety concern within the app
Users can report publicly visible posts and comments directly inside Forum Online without opening a browser or email application. Reporting is available to guests and signed-in users. Guests do not need to create an account, connect a wallet, or complete identity verification.
To report a post in the mobile app:
- Find the post in the New or Trending feed, or open its detail screen.
- Open the post's three-dot menu and select Report Post.
- Select Child safety concerns for suspected child abuse or exploitation.
- Optionally add a brief description, then select Send report.
To report a comment, open the post's comments and select Report on the comment, then choose the reason and submit. Labels may be translated into the app's selected language. The website also provides reporting on posts and comments.
A successful submission displays a confirmation and saves the report for moderator review. If submission fails, an error is displayed; retry rather than assuming the report was received. Submitting a report does not automatically remove the reported content.
Do not download, copy, attach, or redistribute suspected CSAM to make a report. Provide a post or comment reference, a link if available, and a brief explanation. Do not include identity documents or other unnecessary personal information.
Review, removal, and enforcement
Reports are placed in a moderation queue. Reports marked Child safety concerns are prioritized for review. We aim to review safety concerns and take appropriate action promptly; response times depend on the risk and available information, and no fixed response time is guaranteed.
Our moderation procedure requires reviewers to assess child safety reports, restrict access to harmful content where appropriate, and remove or disable access to CSAM when we become aware of it. Depending on the severity and circumstances, Forum Online may remove content, restrict account capabilities, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and block abusive users from continued use of the service.
Confirmed CSAM must be escalated to the relevant regional authority or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as applicable. Reporting, preservation of relevant records, and responses to lawful requests must follow applicable child safety laws. These steps are handled by the responsible safety contact; users must not collect or redistribute abusive material themselves.

Email: mail@forum.online
Use this address for child safety reports, concerns not tied to a reportable post or comment, problems accessing the in-app form, or inquiries about Forum Online's CSAE/CSAM prevention, review, and enforcement procedures. It is also the contact channel for Google Play and relevant authorities. The responsible child safety contact coordinates review and appropriate action.
Email is an additional channel, not a requirement for using the in-app reporting mechanism. General safety reports may also be sent to safety@forum.online.
If a child may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child-protection authority. Forum Online's reporting channels are not emergency services.
